Tesco told to ‘shove it’ after making small boxes of Roses pricier than larger ones
This is a consumer story I wrote before Christmas.
A Tesco blunder where they sold a bigger box of chocolates for cheaper than a smaller one.
Have a read:
Tesco shoppers are furious at the major supermarket for selling packets of Cadbury Roses for more than bigger packs of same chocolates.
While the store sold 275g packets for £5, 290g boxes were being flogged for £2.
This meant that the smaller packets cost £3 more than the bigger boxes.
The biggest difference, aside from the size and price of the two chocolates, was the shape of the package.
The rest of the story about Tesco’s Roses is here.
